AnaCredit/BECRIS – full process

For a Major EU Clearing House

AnaCredit stands for analytical credit data set. It is a reporting project launched by ECB which aims to collect granular data (i.e. at transaction level) on credits (and the associated credit risk) granted by financial institutions. Although defined at European level, local authorities can extend the required data set and amend the reporting frequency. The National Bank of Belgium is one of national reporting authorities which extended the scope of AnaCredit, as the target reporting framework, should also replace existing credit registers. The system was called BECRIS.

b.fine designed and implemented the data collection and reporting process. WKFS’ OneSumX© has been selected for the creation of the AnaCredit datasets.
